"What is It?" Solution.

Alright...so I finally succeeded in stumping you. I'm almost hesitent to even reveal the answer, because I'm afraid I'll never find another difficult picture.

However...because I'm such a nice guy, I'll go ahead and show you, and tell you what the "green" image is.

First off...for those who haven't seen it, this is the image:

Now...here is the solution:

This is an ariel shot of Lakewood Blvd. in Holland. So essentially, it's an above shot of the trees. Thanks for all the fun and guessing!

Stay tuned for future stumpers!

The "Sorry Signal"

Alright...so I talked about this on my show last night and I thought that I should come up with a picture.

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, let me explain.

The other day I was leaving Hudsonville and was on the entrance ramp to the highway. I like a little speed...so by the time I reached the highway, I was already going 70.

However...traffic was a little full on the highway. There were 2 semi trucks in the right lane and a continuous flow of traffic in the left. I fit right between the 2 semi trucks...although wasn't really comfortable with that.

Anyway...I wanted to get around the semi in front of me because he was going like 60 mph, and I had to slow down from 70. So I looked quickly and went to merge into the left lane, when I double checked I noticed a car and swerved back. Oops.

This is where my idea comes in. It was a "not-so-bright" move and I felt pretty lame about it. So it got me thinking...what if cars had "Sorry Signals" built into them. I pictured it kind of like a turn signal, only it's for apologizing for something you did that probably wasn't the best idea.

This is what I thought it would look like.

I imagine it to light up really, really bright to make sure people see it. I really don't believe it'll catch on, but I am sorry for being impatient on the road.

Let's try this one more time...What is it?

Here's the first of the 2...What is it? Leave a comment and I'll reveal the answer later on throughout the day.

What Is It?

Okay...so the last one was way too easy...so here's a new one.

Good luck with it...I have a feeling it'll be a little harder. If you get this one too quickly, I think I'll have to admit defeat.

What Is It?

Now that I'm back in town...it's time to have more fun with all of you.

You've all done so well figuring out what fun little pictures I've put up, not let's see if you can figure out what this next one is. I'm not sure if it's hard, or if it's easy, but it'll give you something to do!

Have fun!

Where Have I Been?

You're probably wondering where I've been for the last week and a half, since this Blog hasn't been updated since November 2nd.

Well, I'd like to say I've been off "jellyfishing" because it sure looks fun, but in reality...I've been swamped with work.

I was gone for over a week...part of it on a Sr. High Youth Retreat and a larger part of it I spent with the radio station down in Biloxi, Mississippi helping out with the hurricane relief.

I'd also love to tell you I worked on homes and such, but I spent most of my time crammed into a little room broadcasting, doing website stuff, interviews, and much much more.

Needless to say...the time away caused me to play catch-up once I returned back home. So that's what I've been doing for the last couple of days. I'll try and get back on the band wagon and post more, just bear with me and I get back into my regular routine.

(The reason for the "jellyfishing" picture is because while I was down in Biloxi, I walked the beach along with some friends and there were dead jellyfish all over the beach and we touched them!)

More later...hopefully...

Korfball...is it just Basketball?

The term "Korf" does stand for "Basket", however Korfball is way different that Basketball.

First off...teams are co-ed teams. Second...the hoop has no backboard. Third...no dribbling, only passing. Fourth...no moving if you have the ball. Fifth...scoring is like soccer, one point at a time.

Sounds pretty interesting...what to know more? Check HERE!

Your Name on Mars?

Yeah you read right, you too can have your name on Mars.

According to a recent news release...

Now's your chance to have your name placed on the Red Planet.

In 2007, The Planetary Society will be sending a specialized silica-glass DVD to Mars aboard "Phoenix," NASA's newest scout mission. The disk will be attached to the deck of the Phoenix lander and will contain a collection of 19th and 20th Century stories, essays and art inspired by the planet. The disk will also include the famed 1938 radio broadcast "The War of the Worlds."

People from around the world are invited to add their own names, the names of loved ones, even the family pet to the Mars bound disk. Just log onto the Planetary Society website at www.planetary.org and follow the links. After you fill out the form you can download a certificate stating that your name will be on Mars.

The deadline for submitting your name is February 1st, 2007. The special disk will last for several hundred years, plenty of time for future generations to discover and read the Red Planet's first library.

This is kind of a cool idea. Just thought I would pass it along just in case you'd like to send your name to Mars.
